Blogging Love | Why Desire is Not Enough

Blogging Love | Why Desire is Not Enough

Blogging love or having the desire to be successful as a blogger is not enough. There are far too many bloggers who quit too soon. Who doesn't want to generate passive income online right? We all have been taught to work hard and trade time for linear income at our jobs. What happens the moment you and I stop showing up? Does your employer continue to pay you regardless if you report to work or not? Of course not.

Your income is tied to your time. Of course, there are many people who love what they do “for a living”. In addition, may have a boss that respects them and co-workers they like to work with. The beauty of digital entrepreneurship is that you can still work the job you love or hate ad build your fortune in your spare time. So, your success goes beyond blogging love. You have to be fully committed to the success journey.

Why do people love blogging?

People love blogging for various reasons. It may be a hobby for some or a full-time job for others. You can be creative as you wish to be with a blog. In addition, you can create your own products and write about topics that you care about with a blog. One of the big mistakes that may bloggers make is writing about anything that comes to mind. So, you want to be strategic in how you write your blog posts.

I use a tool called KWFinder. KWFinder helps me find low competition, high demand keywords that I can rank for. Remember, you want to see how keywords that your potential customers are already searching for. Are you at skateboarding? Do you have a specific skill? Why not create a course and help other people fix a problem that they may have. Perhaps they are bad at math and you are great at it. You can create a course using Podia and start earning residual income.

How so? Once your course is created you can write a blog post about topics surrounding it. Again, if you do proper keyword research your chances of getting more potential customers to your course rises. So, it is absolutely essential that you write about keywords that people are already searching for.

Do blogs really make money?

Blogs make money but not without blog owners who are fully committed. Blogging success does not come in a matter of days but several month and years. I have had my fitness website, rundreamachieve.com since 2011. In addition, my nutrition website nutritiongeeks.com since 2019. In addition, have been writing weekly posts on both of them for years. I have also worked to create value on all my websites to help other people succeed.

So, in order to succeed you really have to always place your focus on the needs of other people. Is there a solution you can offer to a problem that someone else has? if so, your chances of earning income with your blog rises. Are you willing to be consistent each week for months and years? Well, you certainly have a short for success. Again, blogging love is a small part of overall blogging success.

Can a personal blog make money?

Of course but not without effort. Digital entrepreneurs are always focused on providing solutions to others. You can create your own course as mentioned above with Podia. Podia also does not take any percentage of your sales. So, you can make as many courses as you wish and it is still $33 per month. Yes, it will take time and effort in order to create a course. That being said, once it is made you can continue to make sales for years to come.

So, you may have blogging love and the desire to succeed but how long are you willing to persist? Remember, you can also share other people's products and earn commissions by way of your blog too. Also, it doesn't cost any money to sign up as an affiliate. For example, I pay my affiliates a 40% commission to share my running courses. My Sub 3 Hour Marathon Pro course sells for $197. So, my affiliates earn $78.80 USD each time they share their affiliate link and someone purchases any of my courses.

Is blogging still a thing in 2022?

Blogging is just as much relevant today in 2022 as it was in 2011 when I started blogging. Again, blogging love and having that desire to succeed is the first step. I highly recommend using tools mentioned in this post to help you speed up your learning curve. There are two courses I have shared within this post you will find by clicking on either of the two buttons on this post.

The two courses I have shared here are a great way to learn what successful bloggers do to succeed. The first is the 6-figure blogger course and the other is the Pinterest Traffic Avalanche courses. Again, courses are designed to serve two purposes. One, they help solve a problem that someone needs and hopefully they do a good job of achieving that. Secondly, they help the individual(s) who created them to earn residual (passive) income.

How long does it take to write a good blog post?

I have blog posts that I have written here that took me over 5 hours to write. For example, the post I wrote on digital entrepreneurship. It is over 7,000 words in length. That being said, you don't have to write a blog post that long. I have blog posts that are less than 1000 words that rank in Google. Again, it is about the quality and attention you put into your blog posts that count most.

Of course, there are people who will desire for a shorter post while others want something more. So, it can take anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours to write a legitimate blog post.
