What is the top element of entrepreneurship? Entrepreneurship is not the same as working a job. Of course, there are many people who love what they do “for a living”. That being said, what happens the moment you can't show up to your job? What happens if you get sick or cannot work? Does your employer continue to pay you regardless if you show up or not? We know that the paycheck stops arriving the moment you stop showing up for work.

So, the elements of entrepreneurship are built around being creative. Let's face it. Digital entrepreneurship is not taught in our school system. We are taught how to climb the corporate ladder as employees. In addition, anyone who has worked a job already knows there is a ceiling on their income. Sure, they may get an occasional raise from time to time. That being said, it only moves you up a new tax bracket.

Also, your paycheck only arrives every 2 weeks or 1 month. Isn't earning income regardless if you show up or not more interesting? Why have so few of us been taught ways how to build passive income? Income that continues to come in for having worked hard once?

What are the 5 elements of entrepreneurship?

The 5 elements of entrepreneurships are essential for success. You have to be…

  • Highly motivated
  • Passionate about what you are doing.
  • Have a long-term vision and believe in delayed gratification
  • Be confident in yourself and your plan of action
  • Be a legitimate decision maker

Entrepreneurship is not like the so-called “safe and secure” job you are used to. Yes, there are perks to having a job. A job will at least provide you a paycheck that you can reasonably expect to come in every 2 weeks or 1 month. In addition, it is still income although linear income. Income that is tied to your time.

The facts are there only 24 hours in a day. So, only so much time you can provide work or service to others. Digital entrepreneurs have to think outside the box. The real leverage is when you can create a product that you can continue to sell over and over again. You build income that continues to arrive for having worked hard one time. Doesn't that sound more appealing then having to continue to go somewhere and warm a seat for 8 to 12 hours a day?

What are the three value elements in entrepreneurship?

Blogging is one of the top element of entrepreneurship. That being said, the three value elements in entrepreneurship are risk, value and cash flow. Sadly, even business school taught me little about any of these elements. The majority of business schools teach their students to be outstanding managers. In addition, owning an MBA or DBA degree definitely helps in terms of credentialing. That being said, you still have a ceiling on your income as a highly paid executive.

How can there be some high school drop outs making more in a month some highly trained PhD makes in a year? Is a college degree necessary to be good at entrepreneurship? No. Of course, formal education is still important. You always want to have a plan B. That being said, having a job isn't necessarily a bad thing either. You still have income coming in and can work on your passion in your spare time.

My goal with this site is to share some strategies to help you. I want you to start using leverage and earning passive income. Will you have to put in some heavy work at first? Of course, passive income is real but not without drive and determination. Entrepreneurship success is entirely up to you. So, you are either going to be experiment with this or be all in. Value is one top element of entrepreneurship that you'll never go wrong with.

How can I make $1000 passive income?

The normal routine is to do what the masses have been taught? Invest in a 401K, invest in dividend growth stocks or take advantage of credit card sign up “bonuses”. Laughable. These paltry ways of earning passive income are time consuming and don't provide legitimate returns.

You want to be more creative about this. What is a need that you know many people have? Can you create a solution that they will pay you for? Can you fix a problem they may have? Solving a problem others have is one major element of entrepreneurship you need to always remind yourself of.

My recommendation is focus first on the needs of others before worrying about what you want. I am a 2:19 marathoner and have a website called rundreamachieve.com. The running courses that I created there are for runners seeking to run a specific time for their chosen running event. So, the need in the marketplace is how to run a faster time. What is an element of entrepreneurship you can use to start earning residual income?

I decided to take the knowledge that I have with running and help solve a problem. How can I assist others to run the goal time they have in mind? The software I used to create these courses is Podia. Podia handles all of the credit card transactions for you as well. Also, they don't take a percentage of the sales of the products you create.

It is a once per month payment of just $33 per month to use the Podia platform too. Did I mention you can make as many products as you wish and the price is still the same? Do you have a topic or area you know well? Do you want to know a major way to start building supplemental income? Create a course and help others with the knowledge that you have. You only need to create the course once. Podia is one element of entrepreneurship you can utilize to build your brand.

Once completed, you can continue to make sales on that course for years to come. Why aren't we taught this style of income generation in our school systems? I hold an MBA from Purdue University and working on a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. I have yet to hear one hour of instruction on this way of earning income.

Are you making $50 a month yet? Start there. $500 a month or more is doable but will take time and effort in order to achieve. First, think of ways to help other people. What solution to a problem they have can you provide? I mentioned Podia above. Podia also provides you with far more than just creating courses. Below are a few additional items that Podia lets you create…

  • Membership sites (perfect example of residual income). What happens if you get 50 customers pay you $10 per month? $500 per month in passive income is what you get. Again, residual income methods are rarely taught in the school systems. The reason being is most of us have been taught to be employees, respectfully, not entrepreneurs.
  • E-mail marketing – the say the money is in the list. I say build trust among your subscribers first and with time, residual income will come about.
  • Website – Podia allows you to easily create your own website

  • Courses – one of the top ways to generate residual income. Again, you can make as many courses as you wish and sell them over and over again.

  • Webinars – create a webinar, build your e-mail list and even sell you webinar over and over again via your website. One major element of entrepreneurship you can use with Podia.
